Interim Pastor - Wyatt Helgeson
Wyatt Helgeson grew up in Ray, MN, just outside of International Falls, attending Northwoods Bible Church through high school. He came to a saving faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection at a young age. He was baptized at the age of 18. He is a graduate from The College of St. Scholastica and currently teaches high school science at Cherry School. During the summer as a counselor at Miracle Bible Camp in 2017, Wyatt developed an increasing love for the Word of God, prayer and the local church. This led to many individuals affirming his calling to pastoral ministry and Wyatt began serving as youth director under Pastor Brian Wiita at Faith Baptist Church in Hermantown, MN for seven years. Sensing a pastoral need at First Baptist in Hibbing, Wyatt answered God's call to serve as an interim pastor for this season. Wyatt, together with his wife Talitha of 6 years, enjoy a lively and joyful life raising their three little boys, Jerome, Owen, and Lewis.
